the Diggers came to show the people's will.
Landlords they despise, clergy they defied to reclaim,
Rightly what was ours.

Through courage, through might, embodied the people's plight
Their homes and crops razed to the roots below

In rising plumes of acrid smoke, bellowed out words you'd choke
A plan to liberate the working folk.
